Nakkiga is a black metal / pagan black metal band from Amurrio in the Basque Country, Spain.
Nakkiga was formed in 1999 and released its full-lenth debut, Belebeltzeta, in 2010. In 2013 the band released its follow-up, Amerasu.
The band name, as well as some lyrical themes ("Amerasu") are derived from Tad Williams' fantasy series Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn. It's the name of a city of immortal beings, Norns, and it means "mask of tears."
