National Sunday Law is an atmospheric sludge metal / post-hardcore band from Los Angeles in California, formed in 2010.

"Along with their foundation of guitar and drums, this Los Angeles duo utilises live looping, synthesizers and samples for additional bass, textures and ambience. Derek Donley (drums, vocals and synth) and Darin Tambascio (guitar, keys and vocals) create music that ranges anywhere from ambient soundscapes and melodic synth passages to dissonant metal and powerful screams?sometimes in one song. The band has been compared to Neurosis, Zombi, Botch, Don Caballero, Failure, Hella, Jesu and Kayo Dot.
National Sunday Law's first full length album 'La Storia di Cannibali' was self-recorded in 2008 with help from Alex PASCO and mastered by Colin Marston from Behold...The Arctopus and Dysrhythmia. The album also features guest vocals by Intronaut's Sacha Dunable, with whom the duo created the album 'Massless' under the name of Graviton in 2010.
