Near Neptune is an instrumental progressive metal band from Denton in Texas, formed in June 2010.
Originally formed under the name Fierce Band! by Aaron Vernon (guitars), Luke Cadwallader-Daniel (Bass) and Nathan Place (drums), the band took its current name, with Jeremy Doss replacing Nathan on percussion.
Near Neptune cites Chon, Scale The Summit, Rush, Opeth and Black Sabbath as influences.
