Nechochwen are a duo from the United States, playing a mix of black metal and dark/neofolk music.
Their first album Algonkian Mythos was released in 2008 and was a neofolk release. the band kept up this sound with their second album Azimuths to the Otherworld in 2010 but also introduced some black metal elements into their sound.
With their third album Heart of Akamon, released in 2015, Nechochwen produced their first actual metal release.
