NOOUMENA IS A French avant-progressive rock band founded in Caen France during the mid-2000s. The band was formed by Pierre Blin, Thibault Geay, Maxime Métais, and Simon Toralba, all of whom are influenced by avant-garde and eclectic progressive rock combos like Kayo Dot and King Crimson. Their first album release was "Argument With Eagerness" in 2011, which although impressive, wasn’t notably a metal album. However their official demo from 2008, the progressive “In Memory Of A Next World”, was certainly a metal release and is currently free to download off the band’s Bandcamp page.
