Prodigy were formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in the late 1980s. After releasing a demo in 1992, the band changed their name to Oracle in 1993 and released a full length before disbanding.
The band, whose style is described as progressive power metal, feature Brent Smedley of Iced Earth fame on drums and James McDonough of Iced Earth and Megadeth fame.
