Oskord is a Christian folk metal band from Kyiv in Ukraine, formed in 2008.
Oskord takes its name from an old Slavic edged weapon in the form of a large axe with a long handle.
The band has its origins in death metal band Holy Blood, from which Sergiy Nagorniy, Alexiy Andrushchenko and Dmitry Titorenko all quit to form Oskord.
