Overdrive was a Christian melodic power metal band from Blacksburg and Radford in Virginia.
Overdrive started under the name Damascus in 1985. Shortly after forming and releasing a demo Damascus changed its name to White Knight. White Knight soon became Heaven Quest and was finally known as Overdrive.
