OVERTURES are a melodic heavy metal band from Gorizia in Italy. Formed in 2003, Overtures recorded their first album, Beyond The Waterfall, which was released in 2007 through the Videoradio label in Italy. In 2008 the CD was distributed worldwide through a deal with the German label Rock It Up Records.
In 2009 Overtures featured on the “ReUnation – A Tribute To Running Wild” tribute album through Remedy Records, contributing a cover of the Running Wild track, Pirate Song.
In 2011, a year after signing a two album deal with the Greek label Sleaszy Rider Records, Overtures released their follow-up album, Rebirth.
Entering The Maze, Overtures third album and second on Sleaszy Rider Records was released in May 2013.
