Painful Pride is a heavy metal band from Karlskoga, Sweden. The band originally formed in 1983, and enjoyed some underground success. The band recorded a few songs, but did not release them. The band split in 1987.
Painful Pride played a couple of reunion shows in the years after the split, and then in 2009 re-recorded some demos. Since the interest was there, the band reunited fully in 2013, and then released their debut album 'Lost Memories" in 2017.
