Parallax is the product of 4 guys obsessed with the beauty of music, the universe and its infinite possibilities. The band explores progressive rock and metal, taking them to their limits, stretching the time and playing with the geometry behind music, while at the same time creating images and portraiting with sonic textures the beauty, complexity and sublimeness of the universe.
Music and its visual outcome is what drives us, instead of ourselves and our imagery. We want the listener to experiment all kinds of sensations through music, rather than getting distracted by virtuosity. This means that music is free to flow naturally, with no forced changes in metrics and harmony or overelaboration.
