Pariah was a death metal band from Wanganui, New Zealand. Pariah formed in 2007, combining death metal with heavy groove elements. The band released their debut EP "Humanageddon" in 2008, which they sold out completely.
A debut album "Mass" followed in 2012. A full-blown concept album was planned for 2014, but did not eventuate, and the band officially split in 2015. There have been plans to release already recorded studio demos.
Guitarists John Little and Koert Wegman went on to play in prog metal band Pull Down The Sun.
