Perdition is a metalcore band from Legazpi City in the Philippines, formed in 2008.

Perdition is formed out of different influences ranging from the heavy breakdowns of hardcore and the head banging tunes of metal.
Mid 2008, early days of Perdition. Where 5 friends thought of forming a new band aside from their current bands. Eventually, the band found time to work on compositions excluding from smoking, drinking and doing shit all night.
Members of the group came from different bands, Tim and Ken from groove metal IPIS, Jhun from thrash metal act Fallen Emperor, Warren from metalcore Murderscene, Ivan and Burn from post hardcore act Iscariot Plays the Piano.
From then on, the band started to play on numerous gigs, battle of the bands and metal shows in their respective town.
2009, Burn left the band due to personal reasons and was replaced by Ken to do his duties.
