Phantom was a US power/traditional/speed metal band who released three studio albums during their career starting with Dead or Alive in 1987. Their second self-titled album was released in 1991 and their third and final album Cyberchrist in 1993.
All their albums were collected and remastered as The Best of the Rest in 2000. This was the last activity of any kind from the band until 2015 when they took to Facebook to announce that they were back and would release a new single in early 2016, having 'dug two old songs from the vaults'.
