Plagues was an English melodic metalcore band from Manchester in Lancashire, formed in 2009.

Plagues disbanded in 2011.

Plagues was formed in mid to late 2009 by Ryan Kershaw, Dan Brogden and Pete Watkinson! Shortly after forming the guys recruited Gaz Walsh on drums and the original guitarist Evan Iberson!

The newly formed line up set to work writing and within 3 months had a set list ready, recorded there first 2 track demo ("Beginnings") and played there first ever show in March 2010. The release of the demo and their debut gigs created a lot buzz and received a lot of attention!

2010 was spent constantly gigging and at the end of that year Plagues had a strong constantly growing fan base and the lads went into the studio to recorded there 5 track EP, "Hopes & Betrayal", which was released in late January 2011!
