Premonition is a one-man blackened death metal / metalcore band from Arjun Gill, an Indian musician based in Dhahran in Saudi Arabia.
After the frustration of not being able to find any bandmates who shared his vision, in early 2009, Arjun Gill officially created Premonition. The song-writing process had already been in motion since mid 2008. Some of the influences involved in the writing included bands like Soul Embraced, Death, Carcass, Pig Destroyer, Parkway Drive, Testament and Phobia.
Premonition started writing and recording immediately and was finished with a demo in March 2009.
After a few weeks of sending the demo out to labels, Premonition was picked up by Salute Records who signed Premonition and supported the debut album "The Plague of Ignorance" which was released on September 25th, 2009.
