Purefilth is a brutal deathcore / slam death metal band from Stakhanov in Ukraine, formed in 2004.
"Purefilth band started its activity in 2004. In a short time the first self-titled demo tape was recorded. After a few live sets the band was close to breakdown, because of its unstable line-up, so the further existence and evolution were indistinct. Curve amplitude of the band’s life more or less normalized in 2009, and as a result the new EP called “One of the Sides” was recorded. It included entire accumulated music experience since 2005 till 2009. The line-up was still unstable, but the next record “Impunity” (single) followed soon. Over the period 2010-2011 situation calmed down as for the Purefilth line-up, new songs writing etc. and in 2011 the new EP “Lower than Rot” was brought to grass. "
