Purgatory was a speed/heavy/power metal band from the United States. They released the album Tied to the Trax in 1986, as well as a couple of EP's. Vocalist Jeff Hatrix would later go on to form thrash metal band Hatrix and nu metal/alternative metal band Mushroomhead.
They reactivated between 2003-2004 and played a reunion show.
