Raw Deal from Leicester's only recorded output was 1981's Neat Records-released single "Lone Wolf" (b/w "Take the Sky").
Inspired by the likes of Free, Bad Company, and the Faces, the English blues-rock band was centered around guitarist Regan Cairns -- once a protégé of Alexis Korner -- and its other members throughout the years included vocalists John Saxon and Des Horsfall (Saxon's replacement and onetime member of Turbo), drummer Kevin Thompson, and bassists Chris Farr and Steve English (ex-Blitzkrieg). Cairns kept the band active through the early 2000s while also recording as a solo artist.
Not to be confused with Raw Deal from Kent, who released their demo on White Witch records called "Out of My Head".
