The Heavy/Power Metal band Red Wine, was formed in Logroño (Spain) in 1997. Their first album `` Hijos Del Despertar ´´ was recorded at Sonido XXI between August & September 2000.It was released in June 2001 With this album, we can discover a promising young band with songs that combine Heavy/Power Metal groove elements with melodic vocal lines & fresh sound. After some live performances, some of them with Dark Moor, Red Wine had the chance to open the Saxon Spanish Tour (4 dates) where they showed their outstanding quality in every live show. In those dates `` Hijos Del Despertar ´´ was licensed and released in South America, U.S.A y Canada. The band recorded their second album ``El Fin De Los Tiempos´´ at Rock Studios, the mastering was made at New Sin Studios (Labÿrinth, Domine, Dark Moor ).
