The Regime was a Minneapolis Thrash band that released 4 features; 1987's Dead Serious EP, 1989's Knucklesandwich LP, 1991's U.G.L.Y. LP, all through Metal Reign Records and a 1998 self titled "best of" compilation on Molten Metal Records. More attitude than your typical punk band and more guitar viruosity than the best Thrash of the time, The Regime is the most underrated band of the their time, period but disbanded soon after their U.G.L.Y. LP.
7 years later, the unthinkable happened. The band reformed putting together a Regime reunion at singer Scott Yauch's St. Paul bar "The Noose". Considering The Regime's orignial run started before I was born I was highly honored to interview such a band. The original interview was just suppose to be singer Scott and I but to my surprise, ended with 7 of 9 Regime members. Several of which had been MIA for many years.
