Resistenzia is a metalcore band from Santa Clara in Cuba, formed in 2007.

The group was formed in January 2007, underwent several line-up changes and arrived at what would be Resistenzia in April. The band included Amaury "Manolo" Trimiño, who is the singer and leader; Maykel "el Punkie" Llanes on guitar, Delvis Diaz on bass and Guillermo "Guille" Rodriguez on drums, all of them musicians with experience in more than one group.
With that line-up and a repertoire of songs full of hard-core strongly influenced by Spanish rock groups, Resistenzia officially launched itself on 5 May 2007 in a concert at the Central University of Las Villas.
In between concerts the band made a stop on the way to recording its first demo. Called Territorio Libre, it contained four themes: pride, depression, man and his lies and freedom. Once the demo was completed, the band continued to
