RHINOCEROS was a short-lived American heavy/blues rock supergroup formed in 1967. Despite containing ties to famous bands like IRON BUTTERFLY and THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION, RHINOCEROS never was very commercially successful, and disbanded in 1971 after releasing three studio albums.
Their music rides the border between blues rock, psychedelic rock, hard rock, and fusion, and is recommended to fans of IRON BUTTERFLY, LED ZEPPELIN, CREAM, and JIMI HENDRIX.
