Rivendell Lords is a Spanish heavy metal band originated in the town of Langreo, in Asturias, in 2000. The name of the band refers to the Elvish Rivendell people, a fictional location in which it conducts part of the novel The Lord Of The Rings, by the British writer J. R. R. Tolkien, and more directly from the adaptation of this scenario to the film The Lord Of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, released shortly after the group's formation. However, only two songs the group talk about the work of Tolkien. The main member is Juan Garcia (guitars and vocals), who composes most of the songs. The remaining members are Joachim (bass guitar), Andrew (guitar), Inigo (drums) and Jose Garcia (vocals).
