Rootless is a metalcore / moshcore / deathcore band from Vienna in Austria, formed in 2002.

Rootless stands for a unique mix of hardcore,thrash and northern death metal,combined in one emotionally charged package.
In February 2008 the first EP "Welcome To The Pit" was released. With this EP Rootless also was finally able to establish their self-created genre Vienna Moshcore once and for all.
Not even 8 months later Rootless released their second EP "Hated Since Day One", which takes the VMC...-Style one step further. To prove that Rootless is about music and not about money, the band provided the whole EP as a free download for people around the world.
In July 2010 Rootless recorded their first full length album “Dominate the Chaos”. Together with their new producer, the guys from Rootless recorded their by far most epic CD, including 14 tracks of pure emotion and hard-edged brutality.
