Southern Brazilian rock band ROSA TATTOOADA has been celebrating rock ‘n’ rollon the road for 20 years!
Founded in 1988 by Jacques Maciel (vocals, guitar), Beat Barea (drums), Paulo Cássio (guitar) and Eduardo Rod (bass), the band debuted on stage as the opening act for another southern rock legend, Os Cascavelletes, and soon became acclaimed in the south of Brazil.
Influenced by big arena rock bands from the 70s, like KISS, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, as well as the whole hard rock boom of the eighties – Mötley Crüe, Ratt, Twisted Sister, and others – ROSA TATTOOADA got massive airplay with a demo featuring favorites such as "O Inferno Vai Ter que Esperar” (“Hell’s Gonna Have to Wait” in English) – certified one of the three top airplay champions in the history of southern Brazilian pop rock, and “Tardes de Outono” (“Autumn Afternoons”).
