Rose Kemp is a British solo musician. She was born in 1984 to Rick Kemp and Maddy Prior, members of the folk rock band Steeleye Span. She started her solo career in 2003 and released her debut album Glance the same year.
Kemp's style initially was acoustic folk music but following works have become more rock based and increasingly influenced by metal music, particularly doom metal, ultimately resulting in the release of Golden Shroud, her fourth album and first full-on doom metal release, which also features elements of drone metal.
Rose Kemp's solo project is currently on hold.
