S.A. Slayer were a Texas-based (S.A. standing for San Antonio) speed metal band. They originally performed under the name Slayer, but modified their name once the California thrash metal band of the same name gained popularity. The band is most notable for having guitarist Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower, Spastic Ink) and drummer Dave McClain (Sacred Reich, Machine Head) as members.
