Sadness is a depressive black metal solo project by musician Damián Antón Ojeda, known in this project as Elisa. Some of the music also draws on atmospheric black metal/blackgaze and post-rock.
Sadness is a productive project and since its inception in 2014 has released a dozen full-length albums and counting, along with several other releases ranging from demo's to split appearances. The debut album was Close in 2014.
