Secrets She Kept was created by Necrol in late 2001. Shortly after, in 2002, the 3 song demo "Symphonies of Eternal Suffering and Damnation" was recorded and self released. After many great reviews, Morbid Souls Music decided to put out the bands next effort. In early 2005, "Requiems to Midnight, Woe" was finally released. Prior to the release, members Didymus Judas (bass), Mjolnir (drums), and Satorn (guitar) were recruited to begin performing live shows. Later, Mjolnir left the band and was replaced by Trigrammaton. After multiple US tours, and securing opening spots for bands like Dark Funeral, Enslaved, 1349, Monstrosity, Diabolic, etc., the band was contacted by Frank Watkins of Obituary in 2007 and soon after he became the bands manager.
