SESSION VII is a progressive metal band from Rimouski, Quebec, Canada. Formed in the summer of 2003, the group's original line-up included Simon Guénette (guitar), Martin Allard (drums), Pierre Vignola (bass), and Mylène Poirier (keyboards), all who had previously played in the band IMORTELLYS. The progressive metal group started this studio project featuring seven vocalists: Gino Butcher, Mario Landry, Denis Coullard, Steve Gray, Dave Pouliot, Yohan Horth and Patrick Deschênes. They also brought in Pierre-Luc Demers (guitar) for their first album "Conditionnelle" which was released in December of 2004.
After their debut release Pierre-Luc Demers (guitar) and Yohan Horth (vocals) became official members of the band and they released their sophomore album "Chaos." "Chaos" is a concept album based on Greek mythology. The live show was presented on three giant screens that accompanied each act of the story line.
