Seven Nautical Miles is a sludge metal band from Norrbottens län in Sweden, formed in 2005.
Formed from the ashes of thrash band Machinery of Suffering, they began under the name Oceans Have No Memory and released a demo before signing to Sound Devastation Records and changing their name to Seven Nautical Miles.
Playing post-sludge metal in the vein of Isis and Pelican, Seven Nautical Miles released their debut album Every Ocean Reversed in September 2008.
