Shield was a metalcore / straight-edge hardcore band from Umeå in Sweden, founded in 1993.
Sheild appeared on the compilation Straight Edge as Fuck (Desperate Fight Records) and the split album, Four In One - The Umeå Hardcore Early E.P.'s.
Shield released two records: the debut-EP Build Me Up… Melt Me Down… , followed by the LP called Vampiresongs in 1995.
