Shoemaker Levy 9 was a mathcore / sasscore band from France, formed in 2005.

Shoemaker Levy 9 was previously known as Down For Life. Shoemaker Levy 9 disbanded in 2007.

Shoemaker Levy 9 is an hardcore band from North of France. Her personality is marking by many musical influences of each members of line up, his universe is situated of frontiers of sonorous extreme.

In September 2002, the band was formed below the name of Down for life. The band has evolved and obtained her first scenic experiences through about forty gigs in France and foreign countries. Down for life records a demo in February 2003 called \\"It\\'s always the same old Story\\" and pressed to 250 copies.This production was diffused and chronicled in specialised networks. The band obtains a first experience of recording and makes links with labels and distributors. In September 2004, the band welcomes the new drummer. It read more...
