Socks For Cocks is a parody crossover/punk/grindcore band from Podolsk, Russia, and is the brainchild of Dima “Rotten” Danilin, a veteran of both the Russian punk and metal scenes. Socks For Cocks is mainly a solo studio project, and is unable to play live often as Danilin has six children, but occasionally the band plays live with hired musicians.
Socks For Cocks was formed in 2012, with Danilin claiming Lawnmower Deth's "Billy" album as a prime influence of the band's sound. The band's debut album "Old Skool Rocks" was released in October 2013.
Danilin contacted his hero, Qualcast Mutilator (Pete Lee), vocalist for Lawnmower Deth, who liked the band's music and so put in an appearance on the band's 2016 album "Fast Fun Punk", as did Staffi, vocalist for the Rumble Militia.
