Sorrogate is a german thrash metal band from Schweinfurt. The band was founded in 1992. In 1995 the first demo CD "Endless Interogation" was published. In the next two years Sorrogate played numerous gigs mainly in southern Germany. In 1997 the formation changed and the two founding members Oli and Roland in 1998 found the guitarist Daniel Loesch and start to write new songs. During this phase, completed the band Frank Schölch and at the end of 1998 they played the first live gigs with the new lineup. In 1999 they released the second demo CD "The Public", which received great reviews. In April 2005, the first official album "Spinalonga" was released. Mid-2005 guitarist Frank Schölch left the band and was replaced by Florian. Sorrogate is working on new songs for the second album.
