Sorrowful Angels is a Greek/Polish band that manages to put out a combination of influences which form the solid foundation of their Dark Heavy Rock power.
Originally formed in 1999, Sorrowful Angels soon started to land gigs in the Greek underground club scene presenting their initial atmospheric material and gradually making a name for themselves. Soon the band starts to gig and in 2002 they manage to land some more high profile gigs, like the one in the Chania Festival in Crete, where they shared the stage with acts like Anathema, UDO, Crossover and Deviser. Soon after the band was put to hiatus, due to internal arguments.
Their steady line up now consists of: Dion Christodoulatos (Vocals,Guitar), Dariusz Sipiora (Guitar), George Mundaneas (Bass), Fivos Andriopoulos (Drums)
During December 2008 Sorrowful Angels announced a reunion and in 2009 they signed a record deal with Sleaszy Rider Records, entered CFN Studios and finally record some brand
