US band THE SPECTACLE was formed in Denton, Texas around 2004, and have kept a low profile as far as band history goes as well as highlighting individual members of the band. They prefer to sport artist personas rather than their real names, and the band focus on their political and philosophical views on politics and matters of the world to a far greater extent than the band itself and it's members. As might be natural for such a band, they are a prolific unit as far as live performances go.
The Spectacle recorded their debut album "Learned Helplessness" in 2008, and in January 2009 it was released by indie label Do For It Records.
