SpeedTheory are a four piece Metal band from Wolverhampton, UK, consisting of Wes (vocals,guitar), Jay (Guitar), Stu (bass, vocals) & Alex (drums), they were formed in the Autumn of 2004 whilst all still @ school with Stu joining in December 2006 and they draw their influences from bands such as Metallica, Pantera, Lamb of God, Machine Head, American Headcharge & Slipknot. They played their first gigs in the Emergenza Battle of the Bands and got through to the Regional Semi-Finals. After having supported a few bands at their local venues, they were headlining after their fourth, and selling out after their Fifth gigs. In July of 2005 SpeedTheory Record their first EP Vengeance at MadHat Studios, which won Demo of the Month in Metal Hammer Magazine, This gave them the drive to push out of Wolverhampton and they have now played at venues around the UK and have countless other
