Spike 1000 was an American grunge(early)/nu metal/alternative metal band from Bakersfield, California formed in the early 90's. The band started out as a grunge/alternative rock/metal band on their first EP but had switched to a much heavier nu metal/alt metal sound by the time they released their debut. They disbanded sometime after 2003.
