Spitfire was a short-lived NWOBHM band from Liverpool in England.
Spitfire (sPiTfIrE) released a lone single in 1982 at the height of the NWOBHM, but this release from an obscure band was met with complete indifference.
Spitfire were in fact the Liverpudlian NWOBHM / hard rock band Rage, who had begun life as Nutz back in the early 1970's.
In 1982 the band recorded this 7" single release, "So You Want To Be A Rock 'n' Roll Star", which was released by Carrere Records under the Spitfire name for some reason.
