Stolen Memories is a progressive power metal band from Villeurbanne in France. The band grew out of the instrumental project Equinoxe and was started in 2007 by brothers Baptiste Brun (guitar) and Antoine Brun (drums). Najib Maftah had already worked with the brothers and was asked to join as vocalist and lyricist. Mathieu Banchet on bass and Sebastian on keyboards completed the line up, although Seb left in 2008 to be replaced by Alexis Armion.
In 2009 the band recorded its first album at Did'studio, which was mastered at the Warm Audio (both in Lyon), and the band signed to the French metal-focussed label Productions Pervade. "The Strange Order", the band's debut, was officially released on October 10, 2010. On March 12th, 2013 the band, now a four-piece without Alexis, released their follow-up album Blind Consequence on Brennus Music.
