Sunna are an Alternative/Industrial band from Bristol, England who also infuse Electronica in their sounds; not surprising really seeing as the guitarist and founder Jon Harris, contributed guitar to Massive Attack's Mezzanine album.
Sunna, however, have little to do with Trip-Hop.
To critical acclaim the debut "One Minute Science" was released in 2000 and sold over 150,000 copies.In the same year they toured with A Perfect Circle and on The Smashing Pumpkins' final European tour.
Disaster followed. As Jon states " Virgin and EMI were going to merge, because Virgin were having problems. They sacked the head of A&R, who was a biker who loved and understood rock music – so obviously he had to go.
