Formed in the swamps in Shrevport, Louisiana in 1976 and finally set on the line up of lead vocalist and bassist Brian Clark, guitarists Pat O'Hara and Paul Restovich and drummer Brian Martini, Survivor gigged at clubs in Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas as a cover band though throwing in some of thier own material into the sets. By 1978 the band was just barely making it finiacally and garned up enough dough to start work on thier privately funded debut which was cut in four days and was finally released in 1979.
All Your Pretty Moves was on the edge of hard rock, traditional metal and even NWoBHM with Judas Priest and Thin Lizzy being the big influences with vocalist Brian Clark sounding very reminescent of Rob Halford on a bad night but it was the harmonizing metallic dual guitar attack that is the highlight of the album with the bottom
