Sylvania is a Spanish power metal band, formed in 2006 by singer Rafael Navarro and guitarist Alberto Montoya. The band released a self-titled demo in 2007, but Rafael left the following year, to be replaced by Ángel Ortiz. In 2011 they released their full length debut titled Lazos de sangre. In 2013 the band went through a major lineup overhaul, including the departure of Angel and the addition of new singer Álvaro López Tortajada. The new lineup is currently working on a second album.
