Tactus A was a UK and US mathcore / djent / industrial metal band from Newquay in Devon and Chicago in Illinois, formed in 2008. The band is an internet collaboration.
Influences include Dillinger Escape Plan, Ion Dissonance, Sikth, Pain of Salvation, Fall of Troy, FellSilent, Periphery, Porcupine Tree and Nevermore.

actus A is a 3-piece experimental/math metal outfit featuring guitarist Jory Griffin, bassist David Kersh and vocalist Raayl.
The project started in early 2008 as an instrumental studio experiment between David and Jory, which quickly expanded with the addition of Raayl, a solo-artist and industrial vocalist. Tactus A, through juxtaposing lyrical surrealism, harsh, terror/EBM vocal stylings and progressive, math metal inspired songwriting, creates a fresh and unique sound.
