TEMNEIN is a progressive extreme metal/melodic death metal band. Their musical inspirations come from BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, DEATH, OPETH, ATHEIST, MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE, DREAM THEATER, MUDVAYNE, DARKEST HOUR, QUO VADIS, BEHEMOTH, OBSCURA, AT THE GATES and HEAVEN SHALL BURN. The band, which was formed in 2009, is based in Nancy (France) and the members come from several towns around north-east of France. The band’s first recording was directed by Flavien MOREL, keyboardist of BENIGHTED SOUL (who made 2 European tours with TARJA TURUNEN) in December 2010, resulting in a demo of 2 tracks named “Time To Avenge”.
Thanks to this first recording, the band received good reviews in the chronicles of several French webzines. This has allowed them to perform around twenty gigs in north-east of France and in places such as Paris, Reims and Belgium, featuring these bands on selected gigs: HACRIDE (Indie Recordings), HYPNO5E (Pelagic Records),
