Temnozor is a Russian black / folk metal band. The band was formed in 1996 in Obninsk, Russia, to express the pride of its members being Slavic and has released 4 full-length albums. Temnozor started out as a raw black metal band with folk influences, but folk element became stronger throughout their later albums. The lyrics tend towards ancient Russian folklore, paganism, and dislike towards monotheistic traditions. They have an extensive line-up including Kaldrad Branislav of Branikald on vocals and other Blazebirth Hall related members.
