Thank You Scientist is an American progressive rock band formed in 2009 out of Montclair, NJ. Their debut album Maps of Non-Existent Places was released in 2012.
The band has an eclectic sound that while best described as a whole as progressive rock, contains a number of other elements including progressive metal, jazz fusion, post-hardcore and math rock.
As of 2019, they have released three studio albums, the latest of which is Terraformer (2019).
