Thaurorod is a symphonic metal band from Hyvinkaa, Finland. The band was founded in 2002. Thaurorod's music combines many different metal styles and brings them together by sounding very bombastic, unique and original. On stage this symphonic metal band gives its audience a spectacular show that is full of energy and of course the great songs where melody is on the place of a king.
Thaurorod released 3 demos with different line-ups during 2005-2007. The current line-up was formed in 2008. In 2009 the band started to record their first full length album "Upon Haunted Battlefields". Thaurorod signed a record deal with NoiseArt Records on spring 2010 and Rock the Nation took over the band's bookings. release of the debut album was set for autumn 2010.
